    This home was built around 1953 in a neighborhood that used to be nothing but pecan orchards. In 1985, Charlie and his wife Sunshine fell in love with the home and decided to buy it. They lived in the home together until Nov. 1998 when Sunshine committed suicide in the downstairs bathroom. She was very much loved. However, there were some extremely personal issues that Sunshine had to get across to the living! In accordance with the family, and PICO protocol, we are not permitted to disclose all of the event which occurred leading up to her death.
   

    Since Sunshine’s death, Charlie and his friend Kym have both experienced several events which were unexplained. Bad odors, cold spots, being touched, the television and telephone answering machine going on and off, seeing dark, moving shadows, and of course the lights being switched on and off. There was a large amount of pictures and investigation standards met before PICO accepted this particular investigation. Charlie was also unsure about brining in any investigative teams because of a friends past investigative experience with another group, but has stated that he was very impressed with PICO’s professional conduct. Thank you Charlie!
 

    It was during the year of 2002 that Charlie’s friend Kym contacted PICO with some questions regarding the photos that they were taken within Charlie’s home. They were unsure of exactly what was happening and what exactly they were capturing in their photos. We kept contact by e-mail and telephone with Charlie and Kym for many months until July 20, 2002 when we were finally able to meet them in person. Charlie’s friends were having trouble in their home with activity and were not satisfied with answers that they had been given previously by another group who had investigated their home. PICO was invited to conduct an investigation at a residence because of Charlie & Kym and we are grateful! (See our investigation for Elizabeth’s Homestead.)
 

    For the next 6 months after we met Kym & Charlie, we talked off and on about how we all felt that Charlie’s house warranted an investigation and that maybe we could eventually set something up. Charlie’s house was so promising that this activity remained all the way up until January 12, 2003 when PICO was invited to conduct an investigation in this home. We also had Justin who is with Ghost Gadgets join us!
After the investigation, Charlie & Kym reported that the activity still remained and had even seemed to increase somewhat. Charlie didn’t mind the increased activity but rather welcomed it. He has taken a liking to his spirits and has even taken up a few cemetery ghost hunts and has inviting wandering spirits home with him. This could be another reason for the on going activity. Charlie reports that he is still getting great photos within his house! We would like to thank Charlie & Kym for allowing us to conduct this great residential investigation

Sunshine came through with a special private message for her husband. Also a thank you to Kym for her strength and particular courage in seeking help for Sunshine. There were also several other spirits with Sunshine helping her out in her time of need. There were many validations made that evening. It will be a very long time before I forget this investigation.
