Cherokee Crossing

2004 History: We were contacted by a friend of ours for an investigation who's friend seemed to be having strange activity in their home. The homeowners reported having trouble with battery operated or electronic type equipment going on & off at all hours of the day/night. They had also seen an apparition of a young Indian boy in their kitchen pantry, hiding, ironically at the same time their children were playing hide and go seek. One of the homeowners had also seen a woman in her living room, sitting down petting their cat. The home is fairly new with numerous acres of land which surround it. There is also a cemetery located approximately 1/2-3/4 miles just South of the home where they believe its "visitors" possibly come to their home. OKPRI accepted the invitation to do the investigation to try to help the homeowners answers the questions they were most adamant about knowing. The homeowners also told us that their land borders an Indian cemetery and the same land is owned by the Cherokee tribe. They also stated that the tribe still uses the land actively for sweats and tribal get together. Later on after speaking to the homeowners, they did tell us that they did some digging on the land and found some old arrowheads and they wondered if it had anything to do with the Cherokee tribe.
When I first entered this home, I was immediately drawn to the huge mirror which hung inside the entryway by the front door as you walked in. I saw several strange images within the mirror and immediately felt that this mirror served as a portal area by which entities could enter & exit.
During the sweeps of the master bathroom, I was taking pictures & saw this young Indian boy stick his head & neck down through the ceiling and grin mischievously at me. This young boy looked much like a bronze statue and his image caught me a bit off guard. Later when telling the homeowners about this & showing them the location I saw the little boy at, they told me that one of their young children always complained while in that bathroom, about a monster coming down out of the ceiling. I explained to the homeowners that this could possibly be the "monster" that their child was seeing. During the last part of the
sweeps while taking a few last photos in the North living room, I looked through
the During the sit-down, I encountered one of the male Indian spirits there who came up just outside the North living room window. He began saying something to me in his Native tongue and was pointing at the ground in an insistent manner with his left hand. Later the next day, the homeowners reported to us that they were curious to see if anything was buried and dug in the spot where I had shown them and uncovered a Native American artifact.

Investigator's Comments:
During
the sweeps of the dining room area, I had my EMF Gauss Meter in my hand when it
started fluxing between 5-6mg. I saw the same little Indian boy that I had seen
in the bathroom, standing in front of me playing with my meter. I began asking
him questions, but got the impression that he couldn't understand me all the
way. He did say a couple of things in his Native Tongue and then later when I
asked him if he was the little boy that I had seen in the bathroom, we recorded
an evp that said
huge bay windows and saw a bolt of lightning come down out of the sky. Back
behind the bolt was a group of at least 100 or more Indian warriors, some on
horses, some standing, all with spears in their hands. Up in front by the
lightning bolt, I saw a single Indian with his spear in the ground while
maintaining a defensive stance. I took this vision as a warning not to trespass
back beyond the tree line where we had been previously invited to go by the
homeowners, who told us that many acres back on the other side of their
property, there was an actual Indian burial ground. (See drawing for the vision I saw.)
The homeowners told us that at various times throughout the year, local Native Americans would hold fires
while playing their drums along with holding different ceremonies &
sweat lodges. We were also told that these
Native Americans held the
ground there sacred & were very protective about who entered their meeting
place.
