"For Death Begins With Life's First Breath and Life Begins at Touch of Death"
A Haunted Evening at the Stone Lion Inn The members of OKPRI, in conjuncture with the Stone Lion Inn, proudly announce an evening of fun and investigation. This historical Guthrie inn was the first historical bed and breakfast in Oklahoma. It has been the subject of much research and speculation with regard to paranormal activity within its walls. OKPRI has investigated this location extensively and filmed an investigation there alongside the members of TAPS in an episode of SciFi’s Ghost Hunters which was aired on Wednesday May 17th, 2006! The evening will begin with a presentation which shares the colorful history of the inn and the ghost stories associated with it by OKPRI and then our members will take a few moments to share with you findings of past investigations and to display various types of equipment used during those investigations and explain what it's like to be a paranormal investigator. The evening will end with small group tours of the inn conducted by the OKPRI team, where guests will be permitted to conduct their own ghost hunt taking photographs, video and audio recordings of their own while accompanied by the OKPRI team. During this time, the OKPRI team will also share their own personal experiences while investigating the Stone Lion Inn. Pay at the door: We will accept payment for this event at the door 30 minutes prior to the event starting, however we do ask that if you plan on attending this event that you please give us a call in advance to let us know that you plan to be there and how many will be attending with you in your party so we can reserve your seats. Seats for this event will be limited and will be on a first come first serve basis so if you have NOT made previous arrangements either by prepayment or by telephone, you may not be accepted into the event even if you try to pay at the door due to limited seating. Parking will be accessible on the street front in front of the Stone Lion Inn. If you pay in advance and are unable to attend the event, no refunds will be provided back to you. Drink refreshments (non-alcoholic) will be served to all guests who attend this event along with small snacks provided free of charge by OKPRI. All those who pay in advance by pay-pal will receive a confirmation e-mail .
The past events were a blast and we had many compliments so we are looking forward to another great time with everyone there at the Stone Lion Inn!
