Historical Overholser Mansion

(A past but not forgotten investigation)

Special Thanks To News Channel 4

Our group also helped out with the Overholser Mansion Ghost Tours conducted in October 2003.  We helped raise over $1800.00 for the Mansion for upkeep & restoration.  We did this with help from KFOR News Channel 4 and our good friend Heather Holeman (News Anchor) & crew!  Here are some photos that were  taken from that night!

Psychic Investigator’s Comments:

Christy's Impressions:
This was a very interesting investigation for me as a lot of the psychic impressions I received were residual imprints left in the home from years past. I was able to get a few glimpses of the family in different stages of their lives and felt the strong emotions that were left throughout different parts of the home. I was able to connect with the original owners of the home as they are now in spirit. They loved their home in life as much as they do in death and were very much concerned for its welfare. There was also a close family member who was there in spirit with them.  He wasn't to concerned with communicating with us though as it seemed his interests were more focused in the company that he said he was expecting and which also would be arriving soon.   Later on after speaking with someone who was familiar with the history & past events of the old home, we were told that a lot of the residual psychic impressions that were received were actually documented and did occur in the past. I really enjoyed this investigation and feel that this old home has a lot to offer.

Mary's Impressions:

I do know that several weeks before we went to the Oklahoma Mansion that I had the dream of the stairwell at this house. The dark rich woods and the lady in white standing on the stair looking down. I know the first impression I had was near the piano room 6. A women her name was XXXX. I could hear her whisper her name as we walked by. I felt the presence of a small child near her.  And yet another female was near. Later in the tour I would hear the name XXXX which sounded strange to me but I know she like to be called XXX She was full of curiosity and was much an energetic spirit. On the walk threw I saw XXXX standing behind Ron on the second floor near the doorway. Where I had seen XXXX enter very fast. Then we heard a noise as someone rapping the wall 2 or 3 times. I had impressions of a walker with a young child (female) falling down the stairs. The child was hurt bad but didn't die. The nanny had been asleep upstairs and not watching. I seen as Christy and I was walking around the house XXX lying in a strange direction he was waxy looking. I had told Christy that. Then found out later that is where they had put his casket when he died I seen (mentally) a wooden old wicker wheel chair up on the 2 ND floor but no one was in it. I sensed a hot torrid affair in the stable upstairs area. I sensed XXXX was nervous with us there because of her fine and lovely things she had. She didn't want strangers touching them. Also on the walk threw in what is now the nursery we heard a loud bang in the closet when it was closed when we open the door there was nothing evident that could have made the noise. But that is when I had the impression on the accident on the stairs with the child. I felt like XXXX had suffered a stroke. But I kept feeling like he didn't die there. But he did. Maybe in his mind when he had the stroke overseas that is when his life ended. I felt as if the young girl XXXX was scarred in the basement and couldn't get out quick enough. XXXXX came and got her. I know that one of the girls died around 52. Something about her lungs.

Conclusion:
As with all base line investigations the data that is collected may give off the impression of being sparse, but in reality is the most important part of Investigating and Researching. Without this data there is no basis for any future findings. In the opinion of the Researchers of the OKC-PRG, a follow up investigation is not only prudent to finding some answers to Unknown Anomalies but truly desired. As the team thoroughly enjoyed this location and the Participants we had join us
