Restless House
History:
Due to all the strange activity, the homeowners felt they might have a haunting going on, but they weren't for sure so they contacted us requesting an investigation. After reviewing over their application and speaking with the homeowner, we agreed to take their case. We arrived at the location and did a walk through of the home. We split up into 2 teams in order to cover the house thoroughly and so that the two different sweeps could be conducted to compare the ending results. Team one started their sweep in the kitchen area and then moved into the living room. A couple of the team members stated that they had seen a couple of moving light anomalies in the sunk in den area of the home, and were surprised when the video evidence was reviewed and the video showed 2 bright light anomalies. After our sit-down we decided to pack up and call it a night and then later the 2 teams discussed the events of that evening and decided that this residential location had only a mild haunting taking place and we believed it to be by the former homeowner who died in the home and then by some energies left on the land from it's past. We have done several investigations in this same area and have come to the conclusion that a lot of the land that was in this same area has a past history with the Native American's and some of the tribulation that they suffered many years ago. In conclusion, a written report was submitted to the homeowner along with a copy of all evidence that we recorded.
When I first entered this house I didn't notice anything too terribly strong in the way of spirit activity. I felt like there was a presence within the home, but I couldn't pick up very much on this individual as I felt like their energy levels weren't that strong. I was more so drawn to the back yard and was glad that Anita suggested that we do a sit down in the storm cellar. While sitting there in the storm cellar I began to hear a few words that were foreign to me and when I stated them, Anita was able to interpret the words which were Native American, one word being "Spirit Walker" and the other word meaning "death." She and I then made contact with a Native American medicine man who showed me land that was different from the way that it was now. He showed me a village where many Native American people lived and then soldiers invading the village on horseback setting fire to the village and shooting many of the villagers where they stood. I then saw a burnt village with the spirits of many walking about the village. One of the strangest things for me that made me wonder was if this whole land mass was once this village because this had been the 3rd house that we have investigated in this area in such a short period of time. We were all discussing as a group that there were probably a lot of things that took place over a hundred years ago that were never documented, especially if it involved massacring many innocent people.

This
residence was built in 1965 and was previously owned by 2 other families besides
the current homeowners who moved into the home in 2004. The homeowners
reported noticing strange activity taking place from the first day that they
moved into the home. Some of the activity they reported was seeing moving
shadows, smelling perfume or flowery odors, things moved within their home,
especially moving objects that were moved or misplaced without sound. The
homeowners stated that on one occasion a light fixture was found hanging off of
the ceiling, another time their curtains in their front room were taken off of
the hooks on the wall and laid on the floor in front of the windows, and another instance were three magazines taken out of the book
case and laid on the floor in a row. The homeowners also complained that
they usually always have something that happens within the home on a daily
basis. We do know that there has been one confirmed death within the home,
an elderly woman who used to be one of the previous homeowners.
Team
two stated that they had a strange experience in one of the back bedrooms.
Both investigators reported at separate times, seeing an old woman looking
through the window in the first back bedroom. They described her
appearance to be that of an older woman about of about 5 foot in height.
This woman appeared to be small in stature and was seen looking in from the
outside of one of the back bedroom windows. Our two investigators reported
seeing this old woman with her hand cupped around her eyes and temples when
looking into the window as if she was trying to get a better view. They
noticed her there for only a few quick seconds and then reported that she was
suddenly gone. Both investigators stated that they had no knowledge of a
death in the home, especially the death of an older woman prior to or
during the investigation. Our group tried to get this woman to communicate
with them but after several attempts were made, she did not respond.
Out
of all the time we spent investigating this home, the area that stuck out to us
the most was in the backyard in the storm cellar. Anita stated that she
felt compelled to check out the storm cellar so the group agreed to go check it
out. We were really glad that we did because we had a couple of neat
experiences that took place while doing a small sit-down there in the cellar.
At one point Anita had a stationary array which activated and then a few seconds
later the emf array was nearly knocked out of her hand. Photographs
were taken during this time, but nothing unusual showed up. Anita had made
previous statements about feeling like the heart of the haunting had to do with
the land and the history that it once lived through. A little bit later, Anita
and Christy picked up on a Native American medicine man who gave warning
about the land. When Anita was speaking with him, she stated that her feet
were feeling like they were on fire and Christy stated that her feet felt the
same. During this same time, one of our investigators who was up on ground
level took a photograph of Anita, and a strange red mist appeared in the
photograph. The first shot was the control shot and revealed
nothing. Below are the 2 shots shown in the exact order as they were
taken, slightly off in appearance, however, they are pretty close to the same
position when taken.
