OKPRI is looking forward to hosting another paranormal conference held on the Illinois River!  Mark your calendars and be ready for a paranormal conference that's actually FUN & EXCITING!  This event will be for serious paranormal teams, folks interested in the field or people who just have questions.  You don't have to be a member of a group to attend!  Come one, come all, all ages are welcome!  Listen to informative seminars, guest speakers, ask questions of the professionals and get to meet members of your paranormal community and that's not all!  We’ll be floating the river by day and then getting serious about the paranormal towards the evening when the speakers start sharing their experiences and giving information around the campfire that is not only informative & insightful, but enjoyable as well.

2009 is a great year and OKPRI is changing up the way we have been doing our Para-Float events!  Our Para-Float Conference Event will still be at Arrowhead Resort however it will be hosted in the Thunderbird Lodge Building which has a full size conference area along with a full size kitchen and dining area where OKPRI will be hosting dinner for both evening to all our guests for a small donation of $5.00.  What's great about hosting our conference here in the Thunderbird Lodge is that is it right off the river which can be seen from the back deck area and there is plenty of room to host host a large conference!

In addition to this years changes, we will also be offering our guests a chance to stay in the Thunderbird cabin with us also located inside the Thunderbird Lodge there at Arrowhead.   The Thunderbird Lodge is great because it is located right on the river and can be seen on the backside of the Lodge.  There are 2 additional rooms available which we have reserved for our guests for 2 nights, Friday and Saturday with each room able to sleep 16 people with each person on a single bed.  There are only 35 beds that we can offer to our guests so there will be limited number of people that we can accommodate with us in the lodge.   Therefore if any of our guests are interested in sharing the cabin, they should make a reservation with us at least 1 month prior to the event.  The cost per person per night is $20.00 for the cabin.  This does not include the Para-Float admission however those guest who share the cabin will get their admission to the Para-Float for $5.00 instead of $10.00.  The reservations are made on a first come first serve basis and both the cabin and the Para-Float admission can be paid in advance to reserve your spot by sending us a payment through paypal or through a check or money order made out to OKPRI and sent to us at:  P.O. box 83152 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma  73148.  There will still be camping available at the Arrowhead resort to all guests who choose to camp however each guest must reserve their own camping area with the Arrowhead Resort office and each guest will be responsible for their own camping and float fees if they choose to stay at Arrowhead.

Guest Speakers:

Karen Fletcher has possessed and expressed tremendous psychic abilities since her earliest memories of childhood where she communicated with plants, animals and the spirits of individuals who had passed over. By her teenage years, she faced the impossible challenge of appearing “normal”, as she realized no one else could see, hear or sense the “others”.  Karen’s unquestionable talents as a Medium, Clairvoyant, Life Coach and Therapeutic Touch Healer are well grounded in her Traditional Native American and Spiritual belief system and her knowledge of the “Other Side”.  She also communicates with your loved ones who have passed, allowing your spirit Guides and Guardian Angels to tell you what you need.

As a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Karen worked as a Social Worker I, II, III; Senior Rehabilitation Counselor; Senior Vocational Counselor; Independent Living Counselor and Senior Case Management Consultant. Her educational background and work experience became the ideal complement for her natural abilities. She began doing professional readings in her early twenties and chose this path as her full-time occupation in 1991. Her life has been dedicated to use her gifts from God to help others.

She will not only be doing her crossing over sessions on Friday and Saturday evening, but she will also speaking during the conference about her experiences and the different spirits she has encountered.  She will also be speaking on how to get in tune with your self and she will be explaining the spiritual phenomenon, but she will also be answering questions for the audience.  Both Friday and Saturday evenings she will be giving a special session called, "Crossing Over with Karen Fletcher" where she will be connecting her audience with their passed loved ones on other side giving them individual messages from the spirit world.  Don't miss seeing Karen Fletcher!  She is amazing and her spiritual abilities will impress you!

Larry Flaxman has been actively involved in paranormal research and field investigation for over ten years. He blends his technical, scientific, and investigative backgrounds together for scientific, objective explanations regarding a variety of anomalous phenomena. Flaxman is the president and senior researcher of ARPAST, the Arkansas Paranormal and Anomalous Studies Team, which he founded in February 2007.  ARPAST is one of the nation’s largest and most active paranormal research organizations dedicated to using stringent scientific methodology. Widely respected for his expertise on the proper use of equipment and techniques for conducting a solid investigation, Flaxman also serves as technical advisor to paranormal research groups around the country.  Flaxman published several articles regarding science and the paranormal and is a regular columnist for The Paranormal Awareness Society Newsletter. Currently, he is the coauthor (with Marie D. Jones) of the upcoming book The Resonance Key: Exploring the Links Between Vibration, Consciousness and the Zero Point Grid for New Page Books.  He is also co-creator of ParaExplorers.com, which is devoted to the exploration of ancient and modern unknown mysteries. Flaxman has been featured in newspapers, magazines and online publications and has been interviewed on many radio and television programs.

Larry will be presenting information about the Time Prompt Phenomenon.  There have been reports of people noticing strange and repeated associations with the number 11 are on the rise, prompting theories connecting this phenomenon with the coming Mayan calendar end date of 12/21/2012. A new book by best-selling author, Marie D. Jones, and paranormal researcher, Larry Flaxman,  11:11 The Time Prompt Phenomenon: The Meaning Behind Mysterious Signs, Sequences and Synchronicities reveals new data and insight into mysterious numbers and strange sequences as they have appeared throughout the history of human experience, and what they mean today.  What do the numbers and patterns mean? Are they wake-up calls to a higher state of consciousness, triggers of paranormal experiences, or what some scientists refer to as “junk DNA?” Come listen to Larry speak about the Time Prompt Phenomenon and be amazed at the information he will share with you.
