Initial Interview:

This residence is currently occupied by the client and her

adult daughter. As a note, youngest son recently moved

out of the home. Some of the current experiences in the

home included:

Hearing footsteps and voices.
While in bed both client and her son has experienced a figure on top of them holding them down and making it impossible to move or speak.
Have seen both black shadows and white figures both up and down stairs.
Client has been awakened in the middle of the night to heavy breathing.
Daughter feels as she is being watched all the time.
Dog has growled at closet door.
When someone texted the client late one night to see if we were still having activity, she went to reply and yes was written before she could.
Youngest son has had something get into bed with him in the middle of the night. Waterbed would lift but nothing was there.
Oldest son had practiced Wicca with friends, brought Tarot cards into the home with friends, and visited known haunted places when he was young.

Historical/Factual/Relevant Info:

The client’s two-story home was built in 1989 and is listed with the county assessor as having 1,963 square feet.

There are no confirmed deaths in this home and there are no connections from this home's past history to explain why this location would be haunted.

Investigation Report

Client Interview

Our team arrived at the location and began the initial interview with the homeowners. After the interview, the client gave us a tour of the home to show the known areas of activity. After the tour was over, the client left them home to us to complete the investigation.

During the initial interview with the client, Christy requested that one of the team members bring in her audio recorder while she waited outside. The team member sat the audio recorder down on the living room table. Her recorder captured a light whispery EVP.

"Unknown" Unfortunately, even though this EVP was listened to several times but none of our team could make out exactly what was being said. During this same timeframe, Cyrena's audio recorder which was sitting on the living room built in shelves picked up two female sounding EVPs, "hello" and "yeah".

Setup

Once the interview was finalized, the team began bringing in the equipment and discussing where to start setting it all up. Tim, our guest investigator, asked after the discussion if we were ready to set up and Kathy's

audio recorder captured a "No" response in which did not sound like any of the team members at the time. Around the same time, Cyrena's audio recorder picked up a male EVP saying, "don't...get that." And then a few more minutes later, the same male voice said, "you might have been there."

Our team began setting up equipment throughout the home. Our DVR base was set up in the kitchen area. The team was trying to decide where in the home we should set up our stationary cameras. It was during this time of set up that Christy’s audio recorder, which was sitting in the living room, recorded "exhale, come here, shh-shh."

The team was having some trouble with the DVR in which Cyrena was trying to fix. Her audio recorder still in the living room, captured a female EVP saying "hey." As the team was finishing up the equipment set up, Donna's audio recorder in which she was carrying on her person captured a "sigh".

Walkthrough and Sweeps

After the setup was complete, the team began the sweeps phase. The sweeps phase of the investigation is where the team collects environmental data such as temperature and electromagnetic field (EMF) baseline values and/or fluctuations along with photographs of the environment.

During the sweeps phase of the investigation, our team began our investigative sweeps in the living room area of the home. The sweeps had been going on for approximately 8 minutes when Christy and Curtis heard an audible “hey.” While loud sounding while present, Christy’s audio recorder unfortunately did not capture this EVP.

As the team moved from the living room to the upstairs bedrooms, they stopped to check out the closet door in the hallway since it was a claim in the interview that this door refuses to open. As our guest investigator Tim was looking at it, one of the other team members asked if it was broken. Right before she asks the question, Cyrena's audio recorder which was still on the living room shelves captured a female voice saying, "Broken."

Our group decided to do a sit-down in the upstairs bedroom, presently occupied by the client’s daughter. Christy came into contact with a male spirit. Our team began asking questions

in hopes of getting a response. Kathy had asked, “Where were you hunting at?” While waiting on the answer, we shifted the conversation to the concerns with the doors in the home since the client reported that they weren’t opening

normally. Approximately two minutes passed after Kathy had asked her question about where the ghost had been hunting at when he was shot and killed. Christy was still focusing trying to get the answer to Kathy’s question. Her audio recorder was sitting on the bed in between her

and where Kathy was sitting. Christy’s audio recorder then picked up an EVP of a male’s voice saying, “Canton.” Approximately 6 seconds after this EVP is recorded, you can hear Christy repeat what she heard psychically saying, “Canton.” We believe this to be the name of the location the spirit gave in reference to Kathy’s question.

During this phase of the investigation, Christy had explained to the team what she was sensing was the motivation for the spirit’s presence in the home (as explained in the psychic investigator’s conclusions at the end of this report). During this time, Donna had asked the spirit if he was able to give the client peace and there is a response captured that seems to be answering the question. The clip is a long clip to give the listener context of the conversation, but the EVP of “thank you” can be heard at 24 seconds into the clip.

After our team finished their sweeps of the upstairs area along with the sit-down in the daughter's bedroom, Curtis decided to take a few more photos are the home. He started in the upstairs area of the house and then he made his way to the stairs. He took a photo of the living room taken from the area of the stairs. When he looked at his captured photos in playback, he realized he had captured a photo of

a mist anomaly. Several recreations of the photo were tried but were not matched. When you look at the photograph, it shows the misty light anomaly all on the right side of the page including the top and bottom portion.

Wrap-Up

Our group wrapped up on investigation of this location and recorded no further evidence. We did speak with the client and explained our thoughts of who we felt might be haunting the home.

Conclusion

Our group feels like this home had 1 male spirit present and 1 possible transient female spirit present that comes in and out of the home. We don’t feel like the spirits are harmful, just more chaotic in nature for their own personal reasons, but we do feel like both spirits need to move on and leave the home. After speaking with the client and learning about her preference, we have put the client into contact with someone who can help perform a cleansing on the home.

Psychic Investigator’s Comments: Christy Clark

Shortly after entering this home, I felt a wave of energy hit me hard, so hard that it

made my head spin a bit. I wasn’t sure if this was a warning for us to leave and stay

away. I did try to tune in to what spirits might be present in this home but I felt whatever spirit was there wasn’t into coming right out and presenting information

about themselves. I knew I would have to work for it.

The home overall had a very heavy and oppressive feel to it. I also felt some anger; all coming from the male spirit I felt was domineering in the home. It wasn’t until I went upstairs and began my walk-thru of the rooms that I started figuring out who was there in spirit. While trying to focus on the energy there, I had this male spirit come up and bulldog me in the face as if to warn me to leave him alone. I started talking to him and explained why I was there and that I was open to helping him if I could. Slowly he began to open up and tell me his story.

His name was Josh. He was 22 years old and was from a small town in Oklahoma called Oakland. He told me that he went near a town called Canton to hunt with a friend of his. He and his friend Jason had split up to hunt and a stray bullet from another hunter’s gun caught him in the stomach area and killed him. He didn’t realize that he was dead right away. It wasn’t until his friend Jason came searching for him and found his body that he realized he was dead. He was very upset about being dead. He didn’t feel like it was his time to go since he was so young. He also expressed upset with one of the client’s sons who he said brought him there to the house. We asked him if he was there alone. He claimed there was another but that they weren’t there at the moment and they came and went.

He did tell me of a strange incident where the client had someone try to use sage to “burn him out.” He didn’t like the sage and said that it “tore his body apart.” I was confused as to what he meant by this so he showed me himself in spirit and then showed the sage pulling his spiritual fibers apart making him dissipate. I had never seen something like this before or heard of a spirit describing it this way either.

I did try to talk to Josh and let him know he needed to forgive and cross over so he could find some peace. Even after talking with him, I didn’t get the feeling that he was convinced of this and didn’t feel like he would be willing to cross over on his own. I did give him this option though with lots of explanation on why and how. I feel like he needs to do this in order to find the peace he truly needs. If he doesn’t, his soul will continue to remain in misery and he will continue to haunt this location.
