Meet the OKPRI Team!

My name is Kathy. I am the researcher and historian for OKPRI.
I am originally from New England and the Boston area. I moved to Oklahoma City in 2010. I have always had a curiosity about life beyond our physical body since I grew up around a lot of history and ghost stories. It was in the summer of 2009, while living in Florida, that I joined a prominent investigation team and began my experiences with seeking answers to the paranormal.
I am a Registered Nurse and spent 10 years in the Air Force nurse corps with 5 of those years on active duty. I have since separated from the Air Force, but still live the military life through my husband and with our two young children. I have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and a Master’s degree in nursing education from the University of Oklahoma.
My ultimate goal is to find the truth about paranormal activity through evidence based research, exploring theories and networking with others in the field. My intent is to help those frightened by their experiences in their home or business to understand the paranormal. Anyone can prove a haunting. It is in the search to find alternative explanations that we find the strongest evidence.
