Meet the OKPRI Team!

My name is Kathy. I am the historical researcher and investigator for OKPRI.
I joined Oklahoma Paranormal Research and Investigations in November, 2011. I am originally from New England and the Boston area and moved several times before settling in Oklahoma in 2010. I have always had a curiosity about the after-life since growing up in historic New England. There were plenty of ghost stories to go around as a kid. I started ghost-hunting to include historical research while living in central Florida. I joined Florida Ghost Team in 2009 and began my experience with seeking answers to the paranormal.

I am also a Registered Nurse and Professor of Nursing. I served 10-years in the Air Force nurse corps with four of those years on active duty and six in the reserves. I currently live in the Oklahoma City metro area with my husband. I have two children and two loyal pets. I received my Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and my Master’s degree in nursing education from the University of Oklahoma.

I am dedicated to exploring paranormal theory with an open mind and finding the simplest answers to our clients' most difficult challenges. My goal is to find the truth about paranormal activity through using scientific methods and networking with others in the field to find common experiences. My mission is to help those who are frightened by their activity in understanding the paranormal or to logically explain the activity they are experiencing.

Anyone can prove a haunting... it is in the search to rule-out alternative explanations that we find the strongest evidence.
