General Information

Investigators: Christy, Ashley and TJ

Equipment used: DVR, (5) IR video cameras, personal audio recorders, digital cameras, geophone, and various EMF meters

Initial Interview:

This residence is currently occupied by a married couple and their children. Some of the current experiences in the home include:

Children in the home see a man in the house.
Youngest daughter had an imaginary friend she called “Eric” whom she played with all the time.
One day the female homeowner was taking pictures and she asked this "Eric" person if he would allow her to take a picture of him standing next to her daughter. The daughter told her that her friend was there and she was putting her arm around him. The picture was taken and in this photo the homeowner sees a man's face accompanied by a greenish type glow.
Oldest son sees what he calls “The Boogeyman.”
A picture in the living flew off the wall & hit a friend in the head.
Footsteps are heard throughout the house.
Female homeowner reports heard the sound of a gunshot coming from the laundry room at approximately 3 a.m. one morning. She said it shook the whole house.
The oldest son has reported seeing a man stand by his mom’s bed while she slept.
The female homeowner & her sister have heard the sound of a baby crying.
Various objects will come up missing and sometimes they find them, sometimes they don’t. The homeowners say they feel watched all the time so they have nick-named the entity "The Watchman."

There have been no deaths in this home.

Historical/Factual/Relevant Info:

It is believed that the house was built in the early 1900s & was built in 3 sections. The current homeowners have lived there for 4.5 years. Everyone in the house has had experiences at this location as have others who have visited the home. There have been no deaths in the home that the current owners are aware of.

Investigation Report

Client Interview

Our team arrived at the location and began the initial interview with the homeowners. After the interview, the client gave us a tour of the home to show the known areas of activity. After the tour our team proceeded to set up our equipment for the investigation.

Walkthrough and Sweeps

After we set up our equipment, we began our walkthrough. Nothing unusual was noticed during the walk-through and the home appeared to be very quiet. During the sweep, several evp’s saying “Hey” appeared on the digital recorder upon review, assumption that something may have been trying to get our attention or give some form of greeting. The house seemed eerily quiet through much of the investigation, however, several audible things were heard by all the members of the team resembling disembodied voices to include a child coughing. While conducting our sweeps, one investigator, TJ, smelt a musty, body odor throughout the eastern side of the house that would show up suddenly and then disappear just as quickly

This same phenomenon had also been reported by the homeowners and photographs and readings were taken in the area where the strange odor was being smelt.

One interesting thing did happen when Ashley, TJ and Mark were conducting sweeps and Christy was watching the dvr cams. The team was in the eastern part of the house when Christy sitting in the dining room area heard someone call out “Hey.” Christy stated she thought she had heard the voice coming from the area of the house where the team was investigating & conducting their sweeps at. This incident and the evp were also both captured on audio. After Christy heard the audible voice, she told the team and had them take pictures around the area to see if anything could be captured in photographs. Unfortunately nothing was captured in photos.

Sit-Down

The investigation started to get really interesting during the sit-down. One investigator was monitoring the dvr cams while the other 3 was sitting in the living room with the female homeowner. Early on in the sit down, Christy was asking the spirits present to give us proof that they were there. She was holding the Gauss meter in her hand & asked the entities to come near it. As soon as she asked, the Gauss started to go off. At the same time, Mark & Ashley noticed the KII lighting up as well. Christy asked one more time for them to activate the meter, & once again it activated. We were able to catch this on our video camera. In all of the excitement over the activity we were experiencing, TJ (who was watching the DVR monitor) noticed that Mark’s flashlight turned on. The flashlight had been sitting in his lap, & he had not touched it as he was talking pictures of Christy during the Gauss activation.

Also during our sit down, TJ reported hearing a loud thump in the back of the house. He & I also heard a child cough in the back bedroom. TJ was the closest to this bedroom & I was the farthest away, but no one heard it besides the two of us. After the cough was heard, all 4 investigators went into the back bedroom where the activity was said to be the worst and we did another sit-down. We asked for any spirits there to give us a sign that they were present or to verify who we had heard cough but nothing happened. We did rewind back the audio from where the cough was heard but there was nothing on audio. We did however get a cool audio clip of movement of a toy truck that we had marked and sitting on the floor as a trigger object. After about 30 minutes, the team went back into the living room area to finish up the sit-down but had nothing else happen. It appeared that whatever had spiked our meter and that was interacting with us for those few brief times was now gone and the house again went silent.

Conclusion:

Our team feels like this home has a mild haunting taking place. It seems like the activity comes and goes and revolves around the children. We do not feel like the family is in danger though with the 2 spirits there. They are only more so a bit of a menace if anything. The family is currently looking for a larger home for their expanding family so this home will be vacant soon and the family hopes the activity doesn’t follow them to their new house.

Psychic Investigator’s Comments

This house felt very quiet and calm. I did come across a spirit of an older man, possibly in his early 60s, as well as a spirit of a young boy, probably 6 or 7 years old. I felt that this older man was possibly the young boy’s grandfather and he and his wife had been the boy’s guardians in life and the grandfather was still trying to care for the young boy and keep him from acting out and causing trouble. I picked them all up as being from around the 1940 or 1950’s era.

While I was in one of the children’s rooms, I picked up on the image of a red metal Cho Cho train but I didn’t understand the connection or why I was seeing the train. I then later kept hearing this young boy ask for the train so I was assuming it was either a toy he once had as a child or something that he wished he had. One of the things that I found to be really odd about this child spirit was I felt like this boy was perhaps an older man but he presented himself as a younger boy because he was a little feeble in the mind and preferred to appear that way. I felt like in life he was taken care of by his grandparents and his grandfather viewed him as a bit of a burden. I also felt like this boy threw fits when he didn’t get his way and he acted out in a child like manner. We knew the young daughter had reported having a “friend” named Eric but she described him as being a bit older and not younger. The homeowner however had also reported hearing

footsteps of like a child running around through the home. I believe this is this boy/man spirit that changes his appearance and who hangs around the children. I do feel there are times that he is gone because of his grandfather who is his caretaker. It almost felt as if the grandfather would get onto the grandson and make him straighten up and then little by little the grandson would start acting out again which caused the activity in the home. I do not feel like the family is in danger though with the 2 spirits there. They are only more so a bit of a menace if anything.
