General Information

Equipment used: DVR, 6 IR video cameras, 1 full spectrum video camera, personal audio recorders, digital camera, geophone, FLIR IR Camera, Mel Meter, surface temperature thermometer and 2 KII EMF meters, Rem Pod and other person emf and recording equipment.

Initial Interview:

This is a family business. Some of the current experiences experienced by the clients are:

Voices are heard throughout the building.
Loud banging is heard along with different sounds like tools being dropped.
Shadows have been seen throughout the location.
The clients feel like they are being watched.

There have been no deaths in this home.

Historical/Factual/Relevant Info:

The client’s business was built in 1928 and is listed as a 4800-square foot warehouse. The current owner purchased the building in June of 1995. No further purchase history could be determined from online assessor records, but anecdotal comments from people familiar to the area say the building used to belong to Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company. For confidentiality reasons, we will not be listing any further history of this location.

It is a commonly-known theory in the field of paranormal investigation that limestone, moving water

and railroad tracks can be a source of energy for spirit manifestation. The property is very close to all three sources. Another interesting fact is that the intersection where the business is located was once a limestone storage area. The field across from the building and railroad tracks was searched for limestone and several rocks of limestone were in fact found close by.

Investigation Report

Client Interview

Our team arrived at the location around 7:30pm and conducted a short interview with the clients. After our interview, the clients left and our team began our set up.

Setup

Our team began our set up with equipment throughout the business location around 8pm. About 58 minutes into the set-up, Gary heard a female’s voice say, “dang it.” Christy’s audio recorder captured this evp on her recorder, which was sitting on one of the tables close by base where Gary was standing.

We were in the final stages of set up and were discussing the last camera placement for an upstairs area. Christy’s audio recorder was sitting on a table there in the main warehouse area when it captured an evp of a male’s voice saying, “Scared something.” This was not audibly heard by anyone present.

Walkthrough/Sweeps

We finished our set up around 9:22pm and began our walkthrough and sweeps around 9:48pm. Gary was sitting at base in the main warehouse area. The rest of the team was conducting a sweep of the garage area. At 9:56pm, Gary heard shuffling downstairs near base, followed by 4 heavy footsteps upstairs. It was during this time that Gary’s audio recorder which was sitting at base, captured a male’s voice saying, “Hey I’m on up here.” Within just moments of this, Christy and Kathy heard like a yell/shout that appeared to sound like it was coming from the upstairs area of the building.

Our team found this to be very interesting since Gary heard the footsteps and then Christy and Kathy heard the disembodied voice. Curious to know what was being said, our team took a few minutes to review back Christy’s audio during the time the footsteps and disembodied voice were heard.

After our short review, Christy’s audio recorder had picked up the voice that Christy and Kathy had both heard. It’s a male voice saying, “I’m right here, photograph.” We reviewed back video and audio and once we realized we had captured the disembodied voice on audio, we transferred it over to a laptop and began to analyze the voice. Our team reviewed the audio over and over again to try and figure out what was being said in the clip. We all agree that it says, “I’m right here” but there is a bit of a debate on the last 3 syllable word “photograph.”

Our team decided to conduct a recreation of the footsteps that Gary heard while sitting downstairs at base. We began our experiment around 10:20pm and at 10:21pm, while going upstairs to recreate footsteps, Kathy heard an exhale on the stairs. We documented this with our video camera and began to do some recreations to see if we could figure out the source of the exhale. Gary’s audio was in the garage area of the building at this point and he captured an evp of a male’s voice saying, “Hi, catch you.”

We finished up with our recreation and our group took a short break around 10:45pm. Gary and Curtis went outside to Gary’s vehicle and while outside, Gary saw a light/orb in the north side west window of the garage around 10:54pm.

Our team concluded our sweeps of all areas of the building with no further experiences around 11:32pm.

Sit Down

Our team began our sit-down around 11:33pm in the upstairs area of the building. During the sit-down, Christy heard light whispering audibly behind her to her right. Her audio recorder was sitting on the floor beside her but unfortunately did not pick up the voice she heard. Our sit-down lasted until 12:32am.

Wrap-Up

Our team began wrapping up our investigation and began tearing down equipment around 12:36 am.

Conclusion:

Our team feels like this location has 1 permanent male spirit present, 1 frequent female spirit who visits the building to visit the male spirit and then a few other spirits who pass in and out. We feel like the main male spirit is not connected to the building but his former home in this same town. We feel like he chooses to stay at the location because it is a quiet place for him upstairs and he enjoys being there.

Psychic Investigator’s Comments

When I first entered the location I didn’t feel a whole lot and I didn’t expect a whole lot of paranormal activity to take place. I was pleasantly surprised though after we started having a little bit of activity occurring here and there. I was especially stoked when Kathy and I heard the disembodied voice when we were in the garage area doing our sweeps.

During the sit-down I was able to connect with a man who called himself “Dave.” Dave told me that he was once married with a family and he had lived in this same town. He told me that his wife was ill and died in her early forties. He was upset with local medical establishments and said that he took his wife to Oklahoma City for specialty medical treatment but she ended up dying anyway. He stated that he still had family in town but he didn’t stay with them because their home was too crowded. He liked the building upstairs since it was vacant so he decided to stay there a while until his business with his family was completed. He insisted that he had to stay close to his family because he needed to help them, but he told me that his business with his family was personal and he didn’t want to discuss it.

He told me that his wife June, had already crossed over and when he died, she came for him and tried to get him to go with her but he told her he needed to wait a while but that he would. He told me that he had plans to cross over in the fall of this year so I can only assume that whatever business he had to take care of, would be taken care of in the fall so he could leave.

He told me he had a little lady friend in spirit who cones to visit him often. He said that she liked him so she came into the building a lot. He also told me that he leaves the building a lot too in order to go and help his family. He then told me that his ventures outside in the streets of the town were sad ones because he saw lots of spirits wandering around the town. He said there were different spirits from every era it seemed and that there was a lot of sadness coming from a lot of them. He showed me one lady in particular that was dressed in late 1800’s clothing. Her hair was up in a bun and she was petite and pasty skinned. Her eyes were large, round and black, another sign of a lost soul. Dave told me that he was a bit scared of people like this woman because of the lost, sad and creepy feeling they gave him. He stated he tried to avoid them and he didn’t want to end up like them, which is why he had plans to cross over in the fall.

Dave also told me that he didn’t mean to spook the business owners. He said that he had tried to talk to them and once even tried to show himself to the client’s son but that no one heard him. I did ask him to make sure that he left the client’s alone and not scare them anymore. He agreed and told me in the end that his energy was low and he was tired. It was at that point that we decided to wrap up our investigation for the evening. We all felt a bit sorry for Dave but thanked him for his time. I also extended extra help to him if he needed it.
